LADY GOULDIAN FINCHES

Among the most brightly colored finches, Gouldians are peaceful and pretty to watch. They do best in pairs. I breed blue, yellow, and green backs, black, yellow and red heads, white & purple breasts.

OWL FINCHES

These cute little finches thrive on finch seed mix, millet and tiny meal worms. Visual sexing is difficult but they readily go to nest and raising young is sometimes difficult. These do well in a mixed aviary provided there is much space.

Owl Finches, when available are $110 per pair.

RED HEADED PARROTFINCHES

 With it’s brilliant colors of red and green, these beauties have a very sweet song. Very lively 4.5” birds, they need a good finch mix, egg food, herb salad, meal worms, grit and charcoal. They are hardy peaceful birds

Bright red or yellow face color extends past the cheeks in males, less in hens. I am currently working with Red Face & Yellow face normals and pieds. This species is approximately 4.5” and are peaceful birds.

This line of Zebra finch came directly from my father. For some reason offspring always have a white spot on top of the head. They are beautiful birds, each with different pied markings. Dark black breasts and black around the beaks make these darlings as cute as can be.

Striking colors. Nice size birds. I breed the black breasted zebras for size and plenty of color.  Excellent bird for new finch keepers/breeders.

BLACK & WHITE SEED EATERS

The black and white body of the male has a white feathering under the eyes that to me, look like teardrops. The hen is brown in color. These birds like to hide and build nests well hidden in plantings. I am just beginning to work with these birds.
